NC Interventions (NCI)© Core Plus (Behavior Management Techniques) Training shall provide a NC Approved curriculum to educate staff on de-escalation and physical intervention as outlined in NC Standards APSM 30-1 and APSM 95-2. Training direct care staff and “Train the Trainer”. Places emphasis on de-escalation and using physical intervention as an absolute last resort. |

Bloodborne Pathogen and Infection Control OSHA required training designed to help employees eliminate or minimize the spread of infection and occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials. Training outlines specific precautions to be implemented if an inadvertent, percutaneous (exposure through the skin), or permucosal (exposure through mucus membrane) exposure occurs. Program specific training that educates the employee on agency procedures follow in order to protect themselves and minimize the spread of infection and exposure. ESP Resources, Inc. offers initial, pre-placement, annual and new or modified procedures training to all employees. By OSHA standards all employees in a health related field are required to receive Bloodborne Pathogen training and annual retraining. |
